The Carmelite Sisters are promoting children’s right to education through St. Elijah Primary School, Rusape. Established to serve marginalized children from surrounding commercial farms and resettlement villages, the school brings quality education closer to learners who previously faced long journeys to school.St Elijah opened in January 2026, with the introduction of Early Childhood Development and 1^st Grade classes. The school has one two -classroom block and a second one under construction. It is already providing a safe, supportive learning environment and creating opportunities for a brighter future for children and their parents.
